This notice explains the availability of a waiver of certain statutory and regulatory requirements associated with Community Development Block Grant funding that the City of White Plains is choosing to exercise the waivers outlined below, effective through August 16, 2021:
Waiver of Community Planning and Development (CPD) Grant Program and Consolidated Plan Requirements to Allow for Virtual Public Hearings in the Preparation of Consolidated Plans and Annual Action Plans
Pursuant to the Department of Housing and Urban Development [Docket No. FR–6218–N–01] Notice of Program Rules, Waivers, and Alternative Requirements Under the CARES Act for Community Development Block Grant Program Coronavirus Response Grants, Fiscal Year 2019 and 2020 Community Development Block Grants, and for Other Formula Programs program modifications include: eliminates the public services cap for coronavirus-related activities and; allows states and local governments to reimburse allowable costs of eligible activities regardless of the date the costs were incurred.
