CITY OF WHITE PLAINS ANNOUNCES FIRE FIGHTER EXAM

 

White Plains, NY – November 20, 2020.  The City of White Plains is actively seeking a diverse pool of candidates for the May 1, 2021 Fire Fighter Civil Service Exam.   The exam is open to Westchester County residents; however White Plains residents will be given preference in appointment.  The salary range is $53,178 – 103,909 (subject to change).

 

Interested applicants must submit an application by no later than Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 5:00 PM.  A printable version of the application is available on the City’s website: www.cityofwhiteplains.com. Applications may also be obtained at:

Completed applications should be submitted to one of the above locations or mailed to the City of White Plains Personnel Department and postmarked by no later than January 21, 2021.

 

Free training will be offered for both the written and physical agility portions of the exam. The date and location of the training will be sent to all approved applicants.
