NOTICE OF DRAFT 2020 CITIZEN PARTICIPATION PLAN 

 

 

Notice is hereby given that the City of White Plains will release the Draft 2020 Citizen Participation Plan for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program/U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The Citizen Participation Plan provides the community with a clear understanding of when and where public participation opportunities exist throughout the development and implementation of community development related plans and reports. The Community Development Program will use this document as a guide to coordinate public participation, give timely notice of public comment periods, reasonable access to public hearings, information, and records relating to the grantee’s proposed and actual use of CDBG funds.

The Draft Plan will be made available for public review and comment from July 6, 2020 until July 20, 2020. The Draft 2020 Citizen Participation Plan can be viewed at the White Plains Planning Department at 70 Church Street or accessed online at cityofwhiteplains.com/PlansReports.

The public is invited to provide written comments on the Draft 2020 Citizen Participation Plan by submitting them to the White Plains Planning Department at 70 Church Street, or online via "Contact City Hall", accessible through the City’s website. Comments received will be incorporated into the final plan where applicable.
