The White Plains Farmer’s Market will be reopening for the season Wednesday May 27th from 9AM to 2PM at it’s usual location on Court St. with capacity restrictions and social distancing and masks required. Many of your favorite farmers will be back, more information will be provided later this week on the city website.

While at our food distribution at Ebersole Rink today I confirmed that our contractor has begun the relamping of the Delfino Park athletic field lights which will save us much needed money on both electricity and maintenance costs and provide better lighting. While this isn’t the most dramatic project happening in the city, it is evidence that even as we respond to the crisis at hand, your city is continuing to move forward and prepare for the reopening of our region. We are sweeping the streets, picking up the garbage, and ensuring the safety of our residents, due to the dedication of our city employees. The community we all love is still here waiting for the green light.

Our next call is scheduled for Wednesday until then.

Remember we are standing together by staying apart!
