FOOD DISTRIBUTION PROGRAMS:
Feeding Westchester
Driven by the belief that access to healthy food is a basic right for all people, Feeding Westchester leads hunger action programs and mobilizes the resources needed to eradicate hunger in Westchester County. Feeding Westcheter has initiated drive thru food distribution at locations around the county. In order to receive service, individuals should fill out a form to be notified of the next distribution time and location. Family Services of Westchester
RideConnect, a program of Family Services of Westchester, has been providing volunteer based transportation for over 10 years to older adults in Westchester & Southern Putnam counties. These rides are for medical, shopping, social visits, religious services and more. At this time, while RideConnect continues to provide this volunteer based transportation for critical medical appointments, they have also enlisted volunteers to do essential shopping for older adults such as groceries, and medication pick-ups. Meals on Wheels White Plains
Meals-on-Wheels of White Plains is a non-profit organization made up of volunteers with a commitment to delivering both food and compassion to neighbors in need. Meals-on-Wheels of White Plains serves members of our community who are unable to shop or prepare adequate meals themselves. They are making deliveries twice a week and providing a frozen meal for the days they don’t visit. The LOFT LGBT :
During this difficult time, The LOFT is providing:
- 21 Virtual Support Groups to the local LGBTQ community

Executive Order which Governs Moratorium on Eviction
New York has implemented a 90-day moratorium on evictions for residential and commercial tenants. At this time, eviction proceedings have been suspended and no one can be evicted in New York State until at least June 20.
