The Community Development Program will release an additional Public Service Grant Application for FY 2020-21. Applications must be consistent with the goals of the Consolidated Plan, predominately benefit low- and moderate-income residents, and be responsive to the needs of people and communities impacted by the Coronavirus outbreak.

Applications will be accepted until 4:00 PM Friday, May 22, 2020.

The City of White Plains (“the City”) is a designated U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) entitlement community. The City receives an annual Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) because of this designation. The City will also receive an additional funding award through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. The City has been notified of the additional federal funds; actual funding depends upon official notification from HUD.
