The City of White Plains Common Council will hold its regularly scheduled meeting on Monday April 6, 2020 at 7:30 p.m., in the Mayor’s Conference Room, 255 Main Street, White Plains, NY. As authorized by the Governor’s Executive Order No. 202.1, one or more members of the Common Council may attend this meeting by conference call or similar service. Due to the public health emergency and the order to limit gatherings and the spread of COVID-19, the Common Council meeting will be closed to in-person attendance by the public and the Citizens to be Heard regularly scheduled for 7:00 pm is cancelled.
The regularly scheduled Common Council meeting will be aired live on the White Plains Cable Access Channels (Channel 75 on Altice and Channel 47on FIOS), streamed on the City’s website (http://whiteplainsny.swagit.com/live) or can be heard by calling 1-929-205-6099 and then enter meeting number 785011414 when prompted. To participate in the scheduled public hearing, comments relating to: the application for special permits for (1) additional story within the maximum allowed height in the portion of the development situated in the RM-0.35 Zoning District; (2) additional building coverage over the maximum allowed for the portion of the development situated in the RM-0.35 Zoning District; and (3) for an amendment to the “S” Zone as previously approved with respect to 440 Hamilton Avenue, can be submitted via email to CityClerk@whiteplainsny.gov indicating the matter in the subject line, or mailed to the City Clerk at 255 Main St., White Plains, NY 10601. Such comments must be received by 5:00 p.m., on Monday April 17, 2020. Furthermore, any member of the public wishing to speak via telephone at the hearing relating to 440 Hamilton Avenue must call the City Clerk at 914-422-1228 and leave contact information, no later than 3:00 pm on Monday, April 6, 2020.
