These improvement projects were developed with significant community engagement and collaboration with critical stakeholders: residents, business leaders, healthcare and not for profit organizations, the School District, neighborhood associations, members of the staff, and Common Council members. Additionally, assessments of crash trends within White Plains and a review of policies and plans, including those of the City of White Plains, Westchester County, New York State, as well as Action Plans completed by peer communities, were conducted.
The City of White Plains is looking forward to implementing these projects and continuing this important conversation with the community.
